Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide courteous service to visitors and employees. You will communicate observations, respond to security-related concerns, and support a professional environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed09:00 AM - 06:00 PMThur09:00 AM - 06:00 PMFri09:00 AM - 06:00 PMSat09:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activity according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or maintenance concerns to site leadership. Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: One or more years of security-related experience is required. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
