Qualifications:

• Active Georgia SPED GaPSC Certification with Special Education content through 8th grade
• Adapted Curriculum Endorsement required (candidates with pending credentials will be considered)
• Previous experience with functional curriculum and/or self-contained classrooms preferred
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and team mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct and support students in a functional, lower-functioning, self-contained classroom
• Collaborate with two paraprofessionals and a Registered Behavior Technician to deliver individualized instruction
• Develop and implement IEPs consistent with district and state guidelines
• Foster a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administration regarding student progress
