Travel: RN - Telemetry I - DAYS

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our telemetry unit on a day shift (7AM - 7PM). The ideal candidate will possess current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA, and hold an active RN license in the state of employment or a valid compact license. The unit primarily cares for cardiac and telemetry patients, and does not include stepdown cases. Temp-to-perm opportunities may be available.

Responsibilities:

• Provide routine and complex nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation) to deliver patient-centered care.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, monitoring for side effects and efficacy.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health conditions and treatments.
• Manage patient care with consideration of emotional, psychological, cultural, and social needs.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to care team members to ensure continuous quality care.
• Demonstrate independence and awareness of clinical situations while adhering to standards of practice.

Qualifications:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $58.96
• BLS Certification from AHA required
• ACLS Certification from AHA required
• RN License in the state of employment or a valid compact license
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in related nursing specialty preferred

Additional Details:

• Work Schedule: Days, 7AM - 7PM
• Full-Time Position
• Shift every other weekend; no on-call required
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 5:1-6:1 depending on staffing
• Temp-to-perm opportunity available
