Job Description

The Naval Examination Acquisition Project is responsible for delivering critical examinations infrastructure that enables the enduring technical supremacy of the US Navy. As the NEAP Project Manager in the Project Execution unit, you will be responsible for providing leadership in project controls, including financial and workforce management, for a complex multi-billion-dollar major systems project. You will be responsible for providing proactive, actionable, and integrated project-controls solutions. This role functions as a direct interface between the project controls team and key customers, including NEAP executive management. This role requires regular communications with leadership and NR on project performance to plan. Additionally, you will be responsible for other critical project deliverables, including an annual planning estimate to NR and other emergent deliverables, such as funding scenario development. You will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of a team of Project Analysts in fulfilling Project Execution's mission to provide outstanding project controls services.

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

Pay Range

$106,200.00 - $166,000.00 annually
Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities: Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A. Kesselring Site, and Naval Reactors Facility, and at the U.S. Department of Defense-owned Nuclear Power Training Unit-Charleston. FMP employees also have an established presence at numerous shipyards and vendor locations. For nearly 70 years, the Naval Nuclear Laboratory has developed advanced nuclear propulsion technology, provided technical support, and trained world-class nuclear operators to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our nation's submarine and aircraft carrier Fleets.
