HOME SERVICE TECHNICIAN – HVAC & INDOOR AIR QUALITY

Full-Time | $18–$20 per hour + Commission & Bonuses

Healthy Home is looking for a dependable, motivated, hands-on individual to join our growing team.

If you're good with your hands, enjoy solving problems and are comfortable talking with homeowners, you may be exactly who we're looking for.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in the field rather than sitting behind a desk. You'll work directly in customers' homes performing services, inspecting equipment, solving problems and helping homeowners create a cleaner, healthier and more comfortable home.

Experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person. Attitude, dependability, mechanical ability and willingness to learn are extremely important to us.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As a Home Service Technician, you'll work with our experienced team and receive training in Healthy Home's services and products.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing and assisting with professional air duct cleaning

• Inspecting HVAC systems, ductwork and indoor air quality concerns

• Assisting with HVAC service and installations as needed

• Installing and servicing indoor air quality products and equipment

• Using hand tools, power tools and professional service equipment

• Troubleshooting and identifying problems in customers' homes

• Maintaining tools, equipment and company vehicles

• Keeping work areas clean and protecting the customer's home

• Explaining your work and findings clearly to homeowners

• Providing outstanding customer service from the time you arrive until the job is completed

HELPING CUSTOMERS FIND THE RIGHT SOLUTIONS

Because you'll be working directly in our customers' homes, you'll also be trained to recognize other issues or opportunities that could improve their home's air quality, comfort, water quality or overall indoor environment.

We are not looking for a high-pressure salesperson.

We want someone who can listen, observe, educate the homeowner and make appropriate recommendations when they see something that could benefit the customer.

Healthy Home offers a variety of products and services, so a customer who initially calls us for one service may have other needs that we can help solve.

You'll have the opportunity to earn additional commissions and bonuses when your recommendations result in additional products or services for the customer.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is:

• Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with their hands

• Dependable and punctual

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

• Friendly and comfortable communicating with homeowners

• Willing and able to learn new skills

• Able to follow procedures and instructions

• Comfortable explaining products and services when appropriate

• Professional in appearance and attitude

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Physically capable of performing hands-on service work

• Able to maintain a clean and organized work environment

• In possession of a valid driver's license

Experience in HVAC, air duct cleaning, construction, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, home services or another mechanical trade is a plus, but not necessarily required.

Customer service or sales experience is also a plus.

COMPENSATION & OPPORTUNITY

Starting pay: $18–$20 per hour, based on experience

PLUS commissions and performance bonuses.
