Group Product Manager - Concrete Products

The Job The Group Product Manager for Concrete Products will manage the short‑ and long‑term P&L of the product line, increase the working capital turns of the portfolio, expand the business with new products and lead cross‑functional teams through the New Product Development Process. Develops category’s product strategies to meet or exceed the company’s overall strategy and goals. Identifies the necessary projects to execute the strategy for product lines within their responsibility. Partners with international teams to identify high‑impact opportunities to drive growth globally. Understands market trends to ensure product strategy aligns with customer needs; develops and executes product roadmap. Develops and delivers operating plan for assigned portfolio, tracks, forecasts, and presents new product financial performance monthly. Leads development of product roadmaps based on product strategies, NPD program financials, and channel strategies. Works with Engineering and Supply Chain (Operations) to ensure the roadmap can be executed based on resources and capacity. Conducts regular VOC visits to understand target market segments, end‑user needs, and pain points for the product portfolio. Manages NPD programs from ideation to commercialization, ensuring delivery of winning new products through end‑user focused market requirements, aligned business case, design trade‑off management, succinct end‑user messaging, and price positioning. Validates Product CTQs, testing, and claims with end users. Communicates product differentiation, positioning, and value proposition to win or retain business. Executes plans to deliver productivity in the category while maintaining competitive features. Ensures processes are followed to develop new products and deliver on time to commitment dates. Develops brand and product positioning strategy by product line, including target financial profitability objectives. Manages, develops, and mentors a team of Product Managers to achieve business goals. The Person BS or BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of Product Management experience. 3+ years of management experience. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and projects simultaneously. Strong communication and presentation skills. Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic. Thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to lead cross‑functional teams. Experience working in a matrix environment. Strong project management skills. Domestic/International travel required (15%). Preferred Qualifications Consumer products experience. Experience working directly with retailers or other large customers. Experience working for a large global company. Experience working in a matrixed reporting structure. Experience conducting primary consumer research.
