** PURCHASING JUNIOR-MANUFACTURING ORIENTED **

Skills Needed

· Obtain quotations and compare pricing from approved suppliers.

· Issue and track purchase orders for materials, tooling, and machine shop supplies.

· Monitor delivery schedules and follow up on late shipments.

· Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information.

· Assist with inventory replenishment and stock level monitoring.

· Coordinate with production and engineering to meet manufacturing requirements.

· Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, lead times, and order status.

· Support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards.

** Qualifications: **

· 1–3 years of purchasing, procurement, or administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

· Basic understanding of machining materials, tooling, and manufacturing processes is preferred.

· Strong organizational and communication skills.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ERP/MRP systems.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Summary of the Successful Candidate We Seek;

_ We are seeking a motivated candidate with at least one year of recent experience in a Junior Purchasing or Purchasing Support role, preferably in a machining or manufacturing environment. _

_ The ideal candidate has excellent English communication skills and works well with machine shop managers, purchasing, inventory control, vendors, and fellow team members. You should be organized, detail-oriented, possess good common sense, and be eager to grow with our well-established manufacturing company. _
