Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for an House Keeper in Las Cruse NM

Details:

• Specialty: Hospital
• Location: Las Cruces, NM

• Pay Rate: $18- $ 720 weekly
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift/Hours: 8 hour shift

Requirements:
Must have High school DiplomaEssential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and public areas.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop floors, and remove trash from designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas and supply closets.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely when not in use and kept out of patients' reach during use.
• Replenish facility supplies, including paper products, soap, and other housekeeping items as needed.
• Ensure adequate linen inventory is maintained on units and throughout the facility.
• Observe and promptly report any unsafe conditions or situations that may affect the health, safety, or well-being of patients, visitors, or employees.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and risk-preventive environment throughout the facility.
• Follow established infection prevention and control procedures.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and all Safety and Risk Management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Utilize cleaning equipment and chemicals in a safe and effective manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good communication and observation skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds or more as required.
