Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in child psychiatric care for a travel assignment in Louisville, KY. This is an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, focusing on children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The unit is known for being busy, requiring proactive management and effective de-escalation techniques.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Psych - Travel

• Effective de-escalation and communication with patients and families
• Managing multiple escalated patients and physical holds simultaneously
• Providing full support for activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Administering IM injections and utilizing verbal de-escalation techniques
• Proactively recognizing and addressing increasing patient agitation

Requirements of the RN - Psych - Travel

• BLS and CPI certifications (obtain CPI on-site)
• Minimum of 6 months of experience with children/adolescents
• Previous travel assignment experience required
