Accounting Analyst

Prepare, analyze and review journal entries, perform account reconciliations, prepare financial schedules and review balance sheet for area of responsibility as needed. Prepare reports using Business Objects, Hyperion and other query tools. Assist with special projects, accounting procedures, controls and documentation as needed. Requirements - education & experience Bachelor Degree or a combination of education plus equivalent work experience (accounting degree preferred) Demonstrated working knowledge of GAAP Experience with accounting and reporting systems Required skills Proven effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to meet tight deadlines and respond quickly to changing needs through teamwork approach Demonstrated ability to work independently Ability to utilize software applications (e.g. spreadsheets, word processing, etc.) Nice-to-have / preferred skills Knowledge of Utility Accounting 7-9 years experience Impellam Group and its brands are equal-opportunity employers committed to diversity and inclusion.
