Join our team to find a purpose-driven career, an inclusive culture, and robust benefits to support your life while you’re working to help others.Position OverviewThe Lead Program Manager will be responsible for organizing evidence generation teams and deliverables to support the product development pipeline and/or post-market product portfolios and will drive them toward successful completion. This position will provide project, program, and portfolio management experience, rigor, and consistency, as well as baseline subject matter expertise across clinical affairs, regulatory affairs, biostatistical data sciences, biorepository, and program operations. This position will collaborate with cross-functional partners from operations, IT, lab, research and development, pipeline, medical, market access, and health economics and outcomes research. This position will communicate and engage with all levels of Exact Sciences.Essential DutiesInclude, but are not limited to, the following:Lead and coach multiple efforts and teams to deliver work successfully and improve implementation communicationApply project management, change management methodologies, and best practices.Develop schedules, budgets, risk management plans, quality goals, and lead the team to success.Maintain detailed program metrics around initiative goals and communicate progress to key stakeholders.Make critical decisions based upon a combination of data analysis, experience, and judgement.Formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected projects to include coordination of cross-project activities.Develop and mentor program and project team members.Listen, influence, negotiate, and mitigate conflict while building relationships achieving desired resultsWork with business stakeholders to define strategy and requirements in order to define and execute a collection of projects across the business.Support cross functional teams on work-related empowerment to support organization changes.Evaluate the change impact and organizational readiness and manage through risk mitigation methods. Provide actionable tactics on reducing the impact. Evaluate and manage resistance in adopting the change at the user (people), process and technology level.Support development of communications relevant to change initiatives.Drive positive change management via planning, communications, and relationship management.Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills.Partner with multiple internal cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.Regular and reliable attendance.Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as needed.Ability to work designated schedule.Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.Ability and means to travel between local Exact Sciences locations.Ability to travel up to 10% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in organizational development, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.8+ years of project management experience with increasing responsibility of scope and leadership.5+ years of managing and leading large impact, large budget, high risk, client facing, and critical projects.3+ years of experience in leading organizational development and change management5+ years using Project Management software.Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.Certification in change management from an accredited organization.Preferred Qualifications5+ years of experience in medical technology or related field.1+ years of experience with clinical studies.Experience working in a matrix management organization with the primary responsibility for project success while relying on a team of resources which are not direct reports.Project Management Institute (PMI) certification.Experience with Smartsheet.#LI-BH1Salary Range:$112,000 - $190,000 (National salary range)$129,000 - $218,000 (California salary range)The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location.
