Responsibilities Mental Health Technician Opportunity - Midwest Center for Youth and Families (a subsidiary of UHS) has been in operation since 1997, serving youth across the country that are in need of psychiatric treatment for a variety of mental health issues. The Midwest Center is a respected healthcare provider, fully accredited, 74-bed private residential treatment facility with locations in Valparaiso and Kouts, IN. Website: The Mental Health Technician (MHT) is a vital part of Midwest Center for Youth and Families’ treatment team. This is a full‑time, 40‑hour per week position. Available schedules include every Sunday–Thursday (2 $ per hour premium for this schedule) and every Tuesday–Saturday (3 $ per hour premium for this schedule). There is a competitive shift differential for the evening, night, and weekend shifts. Current Openings Midwest Center is currently hiring for the day (7a‑3:30pm), evening shift (3pm‑11pm) and overnight (11pm‑7:30am) shift. Midwest Center is also accepting applications for individuals looking for a Per Diem / PRN position. PRN requires working 1 weekday and 1 weekend day per biweekly pay period.
