Work every other weekend and holidays as needed. Schedule posted every 6 weeks to meet unit needs.Highlights:\n \n High-volume, high-acuity Labor and Delivery unit with 500-600 deliveries per month and 31 beds\n Comprehensive experience with high-risk obstetrical care, including 4 operating rooms for cesarean sections\n Diverse patient population including midwifery clients, private OB patients, and community care clinic patients\n Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams\n 6-month travel assignment with orientation provided (36-40 hours)\n First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience\n Requirements:\n \n Active Washington RN license or Compact license\n Minimum 3-5 years of Labor and Delivery experience in high-risk, high-acuity environments required\n Required certifications: BLS, NRP\n Preferred certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate\n Epic electronic charting system experience required\n Must be proficient in circulating for cesarean sections (hard requirement)\n Must be experienced in newborn care including Vitamin K and eye prophylaxis administration, newborn assessments, and functioning as Baby Nurse during delivery (hard requirement)\n Experience with electronic fetal monitoring, magnesium sulfate therapy, insulin drips, and heparin administration\n Current supervisory references and proof of required certifications must be provided with application\n Willingness to float to Postpartum, Antepartum, and potentially sister facilities as needed\n Why Join Us?\n This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Labor and Delivery nurse to work in a high-volume, high-acuity environment where your skills will be valued and challenged.
