Registered Nurse

Seeking a registered nurse for a medical-surgical unit, providing direct patient care in accordance with established policies and protocols. Key Responsibilities Include Utilizing nursing standards to enhance patient care and quality of life through systematic evaluation. Establishing effective relationships and advocating for patients and their families. Developing and implementing individualized care plans using the nursing process. Assessing diverse human responses and considering physical, cultural, social, and spiritual factors. Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare team members to plan and evaluate care. Providing patient education on health maintenance and comfort measures. Fostering a healthy work environment and serving as a mentor to colleagues and students. Applying evidence-based practices tailored to patients’ age and clinical needs. Performing point of care testing and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Include Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing. Current RN license in Missouri or a compact state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA. No prior experience required. Physical And Technical Requirements Constant speech, standing, walking, and visual acuity. Frequent lifting, reaching, and data entry. Occasional patient lifting and movement, bending, and driving. Ability to perceive odors and sounds vital for patient safety.
