Pediatric Urologist
Jackson and Coker Locum Tenens
Jackson and Coker is seeking a Pediatric Urology Locums Physician for 24-hour call coverage in Michigan, with assignments available from ASAP through 2027. This role involves managing urgent and emergent inpatient consults, rounding on hospitalized patients, and responding to calls from emergency centers and parents. The position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options and focuses on providing essential pediatric urological care.
Practice Info
- Practice setting: Inpatient
- Average call activations: Approximately 4 per week
- Most common activation: Testicular torsion; occasional septic stone
- Support staff: 2 pediatric urologists
- Facility Trauma Level: Level I
Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to multiple calls overnight from local emergency centers and parents
- Perform urgent/emergent inpatient consults
- Round on hospitalized patients

- Specific Dates: November 9th - 12th
- Specific Dates: November 13th - 15th
- 24-hour call coverage only
- Unrestricted call supporting urgent needs
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in Urology with Pediatric Urology experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- State license required to apply
- Required procedures/skills: Testicular torsion
