Premium Field Auditor

AMERISAFE is looking for a detail‑oriented, productivity‑driven Field Auditor to join our “Excellence Team” in Southwest Florida. The Field Auditor independently conducts virtual and/or physical audits on policyholder accounts, verifies premium calculations, ensures timely completion of interim and final audits, and maintains an average of at least 420 audits per year. The role requires accurate adjustment of classification codes and rates within state and company guidelines. Qualifications Prior experience in auditing, accounting or workers’ compensation preferred Strong organizational and time‑management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions or recommendations for action Excellent customer service skills Ability to work independently from home and in the field with strong self‑motivation Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving history and reliable transportation Must live in or be willing to relocate to the territory Responsibilities Organize and manage a geographic territory of policyholder accounts Schedule and complete audits virtually or at policyholder sites Complete interim audits within 90 days of policy inception and final audits within 60 days of policy expiration Examine policyholder records (accounting, payroll, tax documents, job descriptions, contractor certificates of insurance, etc.) Research and substantiate accuracy of policy classifications, officer inclusions/exclusions, subcontractors, etc. Prepare detailed audit reports with analyzed data, calculations and classifications Synchronize accounts with home office for routine retrieval of completed audits Travel routinely when audits are physical, including occasional overnight travel Foster the AMERISAFE culture by embracing the pillars of consistency, focus, frugality, ownership and service #J-18808-Ljbffr AMERISAFE, Inc.
