Registered Nurse - Night Shift (3x12) - Critical Care

Schedule

This is a full-time position with 3x12 night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, including holidays and every other weekend. The role requires 2 on-call shifts every 4 weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on the night shift. The successful candidate will be cross-trained for multiple units including Med/Surg, ICU, and ER. This role demands a strong background in critical care and a commitment to providing exceptional nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in various units: ICU, ER, Med/Surg.
• Utilize critical care skills to assess and address patient needs.
• Manage patient care and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med/Surg, Tele, or Critical Care Units.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association, along with NIHSS.
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
