This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute across multiple areas of Human Resources, including payroll, benefits administration, recruitment, onboarding, employee support, HRIS management, and compliance.The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping employees and managers, and has strong experience with payroll, benefits, recruiting, and HR technology, particularly ADP Workforce Now.Why Join Pritchard Companies?Be part of a 100+ year legacyPeople-first cultureWork with purpose and make a meaningful impactCollaborative and supportive HR teamWhat You'll DoPayroll AdministrationProcess and audit payroll through ADP Workforce NowReview time and attendance records and resolve discrepanciesCoordinate payroll changes related to hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminationsRespond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptlySupport payroll audits, reporting, quarter-end, and year-end activitiesEnsure compliance with applicable wage and hour laws and payroll regulationsBenefits AdministrationAdminister employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plansProcess benefit enrollments, changes, and terminationsServe as a resource for employees regarding benefit eligibility and coverageCoordinate annual open enrollment activities and employee communicationsReconcile benefit invoices and maintain accurate recordsPartner with benefit providers, brokers, and vendorsTalent Acquisition & OnboardingManage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positionsPost jobs through multiple recruiting channelsScreen applicants and coordinate interviewsConduct reference checks and assist with offer preparationCoordinate pre-employment screenings and onboarding activitiesFacilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programsHRIS AdministrationMaintain accurate employee records within ADP Workforce NowConduct regular audits to ensure data integrityGenerate HR, payroll, and workforce reportsAssist with HRIS enhancements, testing, and process improvementsTroubleshoot HRIS issues and provide employee and manager supportHuman Resources SupportMaintain personnel files and HR documentationSupport leave administration, including FMLA, ADA, and other leave programsAssist with employee relations issues and policy interpretationSupport performance management and employee engagement initiativesEnsure compliance with company policies and employment lawsParticipate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiativesWhat We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications3+ years of progressive Human Resources experienceExperience in payroll processing, benefits administration, recruiting, and HRIS administrationExperience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferredKnowledge of payroll regulations, employment laws, and HR best practicesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related fieldSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or related HR certificationExperience supporting multi-state payroll and benefits administrationExperience in a manufacturing, dealership, transportation, or multi-location environmentAdvanced ADP Workforce Now experienceBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Work EnvironmentThis is an onsite position based in either:Clear Lake, IowaMinneapolis, MinnesotaThe role operates primarily in an office environment and requires regular use of HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office applications.
