Maintenance Tech

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds across Shepherd of the Hills venues. This role ensures a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for guests, performers, and staff by performing routine inspections, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and structural issues, and responding promptly to maintenance requests.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPerform routine and preventive maintenance on buildings, systems, and equipment across all venues.Diagnose and repair issues in a timely and safe manner.Respond to maintenance work orders and guest- or venue-impacting issues with appropriate urgency.Conduct regular inspections of facilities, and equipment to identify safety hazards or needed repairs.Perform basic carpentry, painting, drywall, and general repair work as needed.Maintain and troubleshoot small engines, motors, pumps, and mechanical systems.Assist with seasonal setup and teardown of shows, events, and venue features.Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work order records, and inventory of tools and supplies.Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors on specialized repairs as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.Perform other duties as assigned.The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds across Shepherd of the Hills venues.
