Medical Assistant
Sixteenth Street Community Health Center
SSCHC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care. This is the perfect opportunity for individuals interested in starting a career in the medical field. No experience is required!
In this role, you will have the chance to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, gaining valuable hands-on experience while assisting with various medical procedures. Responsibilities- Assist healthcare professionals in performing medical procedures and examinations.
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and availability of supplies.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and record results accurately.
- Educate patients on proper healthcare practices and provide necessary instructions for medication and treatment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to work effectively as a part of a team.
