This isn’t just a job, it's a chance to lead change, drive progress, and leave a lasting legacy.HDR is currently in need of a Civil/Municipal Project Manager to work as a member of our growing office in Houston or Corpus Christi, TX.Primary Responsibilities: In the role of Civil/Municipal Project Manager, we’ll count on you to:Involved with the production and coordination of several projects concurrentlyResponsible for leading engineering/process design, project coordination, determining and writing engineering specifications, planning work, establishing appropriate design methods, report preparation and coordination, equipment sizing and selection and working directly with the owners and clientsEstablish client relations and be involved with leading marketing, contractual, design and production meetingsConduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with appropriate technical professionals and other disciplines, and be responsible for coordinating staffing/workload through the entire project’s development to complete documents on schedule and within budget Work with Business/Accounting Managers, Project Controllers or Company Controllers and the Area Manager and Managing Principal for project reviewsResponsible for implementing QA/QC procedures, and for the execution of training for personnel as established by strategic plans and objectivesTypically mentor local project staff that are less experienced Project Managers to help develop their professional growthServe as client manager for several strategic clients within the central Texas regionPerform other duties as neededQualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering 7 years related experience A minimum 2 years project management experience Professional Engineer (PE) license MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus) Demonstrated leadership skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
