Patient Care Aide - PCA Visiting Angels Waco is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely with dignity and independently in their homes. We are looking for a Patient Care Aide - PCA who has availability on weekdays AND weekends. Patient Care Aide - PCA shifts can be any length of time between 1 hour to 12 hours- day OR night! We coordinate with your availability and our clients' needs to build your perfect schedule! Our goal is to schedule you for a MINIMUM of 20 hours/week, which means you can pick up AS MANY clients as you'd like!!! Our clients reside in Waco and surrounding areas (Woodway, Hewitt, China Spring, West, Clifton, Valley Mills, Gatesville, Hillsboro, and MORE) therefore, a Patient Care Aide - PCA MUST have reliable transportation of your own that you will drive to and from each client and be willing to travel outside of Waco. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply! What a Patient Care Aide - PCA can expect: FLEXIBLE schedules WEEKLY pay with direct deposit available Employee recognition, celebrations and rewards 24-hour support from your attentive office managers Medical, dental and vision insurance available Paid Time Off Patient Care Aide - PCA job duties include but are not limited to: Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.) Medication reminders Monitoring/safety supervision Meal preparation Light housekeeping Laundry, errands and shopping Ambulation/mobility assistance, including lifting 50lbs and above Supportive companionship Respond quickly in case of an emergency Transportation to and from appointments Patient Care Aide - PCA Requirements: A great attitude, helpful and ready for anything Ability to take direction, follow rules and be proactive Good time management skills High integrity and strong ethics MUST have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly MUST be able to work weekends Be over 18 years old Successful completion of a Criminal History check Professional references Reliable transportation of your own that you will be driving Valid Driver’s License/clean driving record/proof of insurance Shifts Offered: Full Time Part Time 8 Hour Shifts 10 Hour Shifts 12 Hour Shifts Short Shift #J-18808-Ljbffr Visiting Angels - Waco, TX
