Role Description
Entry level to Senior level Data Engineers (Multiple Positions) - Remote
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements:
- Automating manual processes
- Creating CI/CD pipelines
- Optimizing data delivery
- Re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using:
- Hadoop
- Spark
- Kafka
- SQL databases
- AWS Cloud Services
- Big data RDS
- Redshift
- Storm
- Spark-Streaming
- Object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, R, SAS, Java, C++, Scala
- MapReduce
- HDFS
- Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into:
- Customer acquisition
- Operational efficiency
- Other key business performance metrics
- Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
- Must be willing to travel to set up systems to various clients at unanticipated locations across the nation and perform feasibility studies and evaluate user requirements.
