Robotics Engineer, AI Applications & Productivity

Salary: $128,000 - 145,000 per year Requirements:

• A masters degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field, or a bachelors degree paired with 5+ years of industry experience
• Strong programming ability in Python and/or C++, with experience building production-grade software applications
• Hands-on experience with generative AI, machine learning, large language models, AI agents, or similar technologies
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Agile methods, and modern software engineering practices
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Preferred experience with Azure OpenAI, cloud AI platforms, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, robotics, healthcare technologies, or regulated software environments
• 2 years of experience with generative AI
• 2 years of experience with C++

• Design, build, test, and release AI-powered features for the CORI robotic surgery platform
• Apply machine learning, generative AI, computer vision, and data-driven methods to improve product capability and user experience
• Create software services, APIs, and workflows that integrate AI functionality into existing products and engineering tools
• Support the prototyping, assessment, deployment, and ongoing refinement of AI solutions
• Implement and maintain AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitLab Duo, Copilot, and related technologies to increase engineering efficiency
• Develop automation and tooling that improve code quality, testing, documentation, traceability, and software development workflows
• Collaborate on software architecture, system integration, code reviews, and CI/CD efforts across robotic software and cloud-based systems
• Ensure AI-enabled solutions meet cybersecurity, privacy, quality, and regulatory expectations
