Construction Project Manager

About this RoleThis position requires frequent travel to client sites in different locations. Overtime pay is applicable and per diem will be provided.The Construction Project Manager will collaborate with the Senior Project Manager on a range of construction projects, with a focus on data centers. Other projects may include those in the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, and heavy industrial sectors. Responsibilities include overseeing project elements, managing change requests, creating project plans, monitoring progress, communicating with stakeholders, collaborating with team members and subcontractors, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget. The Project Manager will also be involved in reporting and resolving project-related issues that may arise.What You'll Do• Assess project scope and expenses• Supervise subcontractors and manage project expectations• Maintain project records• Track project costs and budget• Generate reports• Communicate with clients and subcontractors• Attend and engage in project meetings as needed• Address design issues by researching and proposing change requests• Resolve design document problems• Ensure work meets company standards and specifications• Manage submittals and RFIs• Ensure timely billingWhat You'll Bring• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business, or Engineering, or equivalent experience• Over 5 years of direct experience in the field• Ability to work independently and in a team setting• Proficient in computer applications and adaptable to new systems• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills• Effective time management and delegation abilities• Skilled in conflict resolution and problem-solving• Proficient in reading drawings and specifications• Familiarity with computerized estimating• Knowledge of billing processes and collections
