Associate Product Manager

Job Description

Hybrid in Naperville - 3x a week

Ecolab is seeking an Associate Product Manager to support the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of digital products within the Global Water team. This role will work at the intersection of business and technology, helping drive the development and enhancement of cloud-based software solutions, mobile applications, analytics tools, and customer-facing digital products.

Key Responsibilities

Own and support product roadmaps and product lifecycle governance

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams

Gather requirements and prioritize product enhancements based on business value

Partner with business owners to define product vision, value propositions, and success metrics

Drive product development from ideation through launch and ongoing enhancement

Collaborate with engineering, business analysts, and delivery teams to ensure successful execution

Lead stakeholder communications and provide project status updates

Support agile development processes, feature prioritization, and release planning

Identify emerging technologies and digital trends that can support business growth

Assist with customer-facing digital initiatives and product adoption efforts

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

5+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Digital Product Delivery

Experience building product roadmaps and managing product lifecycles

Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority

Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

Experience delivering software products from concept through implementation

Strong organizational and project management skills

Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Background in digital product development, SaaS, or software applications

Experience working with data platforms, cloud technologies, databases, or analytics solutions

Familiarity with new product development processes and product discovery

Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
