Intake Specialist

Position Hours Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM Monday – Thursday: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Intake Specialist Responsibilities Liaise with client/family of potential admissions to address any questions, concerns, etc. Coordinate facility tours with clients and families who are potential admissions. Interface with remote admissions team and on‑site clinical team for necessary approvals, plan for client arrival, including travel arrangements as applicable. Establish professional rapport with client to ensure they feel welcomed upon arrival. Support arrival process including coordinating assessment/bed placement process, searches of client belongings/person for prohibited items. Orient client to the facility/milieu. Liaise with direct care/nursing/clinical team to ensure client is set up with a treatment plan/schedule as needed. Ensure intake paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and documentation is maintained as required. May discuss client’s financial responsibility and take payment as applicable. Provide exceptional customer service in line with Acadia Healthcare standards. Excellent communication and customer service skills, and ability to use required computer programs. Licenses / Designations / Certifications De‑escalation training, CPR and/or First‑Aid certification as required by facility.
