What You'll Do:

• Provide direct patient care in the OR, including assessments, medication administration, and documentation
• Prepare surgical patients and assist in maintaining a sterile environment
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Manage post-operative care and monitor patient responses
• Follow facility protocols to administer treatments and interventions
• Demonstrate adaptability by floating to main campus OR as staffing needs require
• Educate patients and families as appropriate

What You Need:

• Current New Mexico RN license or valid compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in OR or surgical nursing preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

About the Assignment:

This position is based at a prominent healthcare facility in Santa Fe, NM, primarily working in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and providing surgical nursing care in the OR setting. The successful candidate will be flexible, professional, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Staff will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, with support for ongoing development and mobility within the facility.
