Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Variable 12-Hour Shifts) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Start Date: 8/31/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III, 22-bed NICU setting
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3 depending on patient acuity
• Float to the pediatrics unit as census dictates
• Rotate weekend coverage every third weekend, with additional Fridays and holidays as scheduled
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or higher
• Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience in a Level III or Level IV unit
• Influenza vaccine required; no exemptions accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatrics (PEDS) nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, work resiliently, and collaborate effectively in a team environment
