Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (Cath Lab RN) in Apple Valley, California. This position involves performing diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures, including cardiac stent placements and circulating procedures for both right and left heart catheterizations. Candidates must be licensed in California and have a minimum of two years of relevant experience, including at least one year in a cardiac cath lab setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

• Location: Apple Valley, California
• Shift: 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift, from 07:00 to 17:30
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40.0
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license in hand; minimum 2 years of experience including 1 year in a cath lab; certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience; experience with diagnostic cardiac catheterization, cardiac stent placement, circulating procedures, and both right and left heart catheterizations; immunizations including COVID-19 vaccine (not required) and flu vaccine (unknown status); LA fire card within the last 30 days; ability to work scheduled shifts with on-call responsibilities.
• Preferred Qualifications: Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted; experience with Epic charting system; ability to float within all facilities in the state; willingness to work 3 of the 5 major holidays; previous experience working at a similar facility is advantageous.
• Schedule: 4x10 shifts, 0700-1730, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Locals accepted; travelers expected to float between facilities within the state; compliance with background and license disclosure policies required; return staff permitted after 3 months; RTO requests must be included at time of submission; COVID-19 and flu vaccinations may be required depending on the facility policies.
