Registered Nurse (RN) - OR Circulator

We are seeking an experienced RN for the role of OR Circulator, primarily focusing on Neuro and General Surgery. This position will involve assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating perioperative patient care while acting as a patient advocate at all times.

Position Information

• Role: RN
• Specialty: Circulating RN - Primary Neuro / General Surgery
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Day – 4x10 (10-hour shifts) with a limit of 3 Fridays or Mondays off in a 6-week schedule
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Call Requirements: Average every 6-7 days, with rotating weekend call and designated late shifts

Required Certifications

• BLS – AHA Certification required.

Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year of Neuro-specific experience preferred.
• Must Have Skills/Experience:
  • Neuro-specific experience of at least 1 year.
  • Experience in General Surgery, including Urology and GYN, with proficiency in DaVinci Xi robotic surgery.
  • Experience with Ortho surgeries, such as scopes and arthroplasty, including use of Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair positioning.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Flexibility in handling various case types and a strong team player mindset.

• Type of Patients: Surgical patients.

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Hospital-provided scrubs in black.
• Unacceptable Attire: Any scrubs not in black.
