Cardiovascular Sonographer

MLR (MLee Recruiting) is looking for a full-time, permanent Cardiovascular Sonographer to join a talented team at a reputable acute-care hospital near Abilene, Texas.

Salary: $80,808 - $95,599 annually

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Diagnostic Echocardiograms: Conduct transthoracic (TTE), transesophageal (TEE), and stress echocardiograms with precision and careful attention to detail.
• Work Schedule: Day shifts, Monday through Friday.
• Patient Data Assessment: Analyze patient history, symptoms, and test results to support accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborative Care: Partner with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to modify and implement patient care plans based on diagnostic results.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for optimal performance.

Qualifications:

• Training/Education: Minimum of one year of hands-on experience or graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
• Certifications: RDCS or RCS certification in adult echocardiography, or RVT or RVS certification in vascular ultrasound (to be obtained within one year of employment).
• CPR Certification: Current certification required.
• Technical Skills: Skilled in performing cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures within a non-invasive cardiology setting.
• Equipment Proficiency: Familiarity with ultrasound systems, PVR, BP monitors, and computer systems.
• Professional Development: Engage in required training, attend staff meetings, and complete online learning modules.
• On-Call Availability: Must be available for on-call duties, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
