At Express Employment of Monroe, we’re partnering with a client at their Addison plant to add a skilled, hands-on maintenance expert. Picture this: you arrive to a clean, safety-first manufacturing floor at 6:45 AM, review overnight maintenance logs, and dive into a PLC fault on a packaging line. By mid-morning, you’re fabricating a small bracket on the drill press, then swapping out a hydraulic valve to keep production humming. In the afternoon, you’re logging PM results, ordering parts, and collaborating on a process improvement idea that boosts uptime. If that sounds like your kind of day, read on.

• Keep production and support equipment operating to spec by diagnosing and repairing electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance and refurbish equipment to extend asset life.
• Troubleshoot plant systems including electrical, structural, plumbing, and mechanical.
• Fabricate/modify components using hand tools, drill presses, saws, and mills.
• Identify, source, and order needed repair and replacement parts.
• Document maintenance work, PMs, and parts usage accurately.
• Operate forklifts and perform basic arc welding as needed.
• Contribute to production and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

• 3+ years in industrial maintenance with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC troubleshooting experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or journeyman card preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Strong math aptitude, mechanical intuition, and solid problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of LOTO, PPE, and safe work practices.
• Comfort with physical work in a manufacturing environment; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Team-first mindset with clear communication and good organization.

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM (Overtime may be required.)
• Pay Rate: $26–$30 per hour, based on experience
