#Education & Job Requirements

*High School Diploma or GED equivalent
*A minimum of 8 years of experience in aircraft turbine engine line or shop maintenance, or equivalent experience
*FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
*A minimum of 2 years of experience on corporate jet aircraft
*A minimum of 1 year of experience on Bombardier aircraft
*Proficiency in completing engine removals and replacements, borescopes, and written maintenance reports

#Job Duties & Functions

*Perform and document maintenance tasks in accordance with approved manuals, procedures, and regulations.
*Inspect engines, APUs, and related aircraft systems for damage, defects, corrosion, or wear to ensure airworthiness.
*Interpret maintenance discrepancies and logs to troubleshoot issues and determine required corrective actions.
*Recommend replacement, repair, or modification of aircraft engines and APUs based on inspection findings.
*Install, remove, or modify turbine engines, APUs, structures, systems, and components following engineering drawings and technical publications.
*Repair worn or defective components using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
*Research and interpret technical manuals and guidelines to perform inspections, installations, and repairs.
*Conduct engine and APU operational checks and functional testing.
*Inspect completed work to verify compliance with maintenance standards and readiness for service.
*Assist other maintenance personnel with aircraft maintenance tasks within the area of qualification.
*Operate and assist with ground support equipment, including ground power units, hydraulic mules, and oxygen servicing units.
*Assist with engine runs and off-aircraft component repair activities.
*Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations as required.
*Perform additional duties as assigned.
