Regular Full-time NY/NJ
The Installer is responsible for the quality installation of new products within schedules and budgets, including Hufcor and other products sold by the distributorship.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Complete the installation of all products sold by the distributorship per the schedule and budget
· Solve field and site problems or issues that interfere with the successful completion of the project
· Verify and complete field dimensions and site conditions
· Complete punch lists and get required customer signatures
· Generate service or maintenance contract leads
· Assist with service projects as needed
· Cross-train in other responsibilities
· Participate in ongoing process improvements
· Timely and accurate completion of essential responsibilities
· Active involvement in achieving corporate goals
· Travel to other distributor sites as requested, when available
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Strong technical/mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of construction practices
· Ability to work with hand and power tools
· Ability to be certified in construction equipment such as lifts
· Ability to pass any site required drug testing and criminal background checking
· Ability to read blueprints and layouts
· Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
· Organized, detail and quality oriented
· Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on customer satisfaction Minimum Education and Experience:
· Education equivalent to a high school diploma
· Minimum of two years of construction experience
