As we continue to expand, we're seeking a talented leader to oversee our plumbing service operations.The Warehouse & Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining OPT's parts supply chain from procurement through truck-level inventory. This includes daily replenishment lists, kit builds and restocking, parts runs to vendors, purchase order processing, special order management, truck inventory resets, new truck setup, and supporting accurate pricebook and financial documentation. This role works closely with the Warehouse Operations Coordinator and field technicians to ensure parts availability never becomes a barrier to job completion.Core Responsibilities & Performance StandardsDaily Replenishment & Kit ManagementGenerate and work replenishment lists dailyComplete daily kit inventory and restocking; send daily usage log to Accounts Receivable for same-day cost trackingPrepare Weekend Kit Support setup each weekGenerate Truck Replenishment Lists dailyParts Runs & ProcurementExecute daily parts runs to vendors as neededProcess and fulfill special order parts requests as submitted by techniciansUpdate Special Order Tracker same day or as neededMonitor all technician and company chats and respond promptlyPurchase Order & Financial DocumentationUpdate and receive purchase orders daily in ServiceTitanPerform daily pricebook updates in ServiceTitanReceive emailed invoices (rentals, sub-contractors, etc.) and respond accordinglyUpload credit card receipts to HubDocs dailySend a weekly Kit Usage Report summary to the Finance Specialist, separate from the daily AR usage log above — this weekly report rolls up trends for budgeting rather than daily transaction trackingTruck Inventory ManagementConduct truck inventory resets as needed [Final scope/frequency of this section to be confirmed by supervisor]Conduct truck equipment inventory reset as requiredBarcode all new parts before placement in warehouseMaintain accurate bin location records in inventory management systemTruck Decommission & RecommissionWhen an employee separates from OPT, clean the vacated truck to company standardsPull and document all inventory from the departing employee's truckCount all returned materials and reconcile against the truck's approved parts listRestock the truck with verified materials so it is ready for the next assigned employeeNew Truck Setup & Fleet ReadinessPrepare newly purchased trucks for field deployment following the approved planogram and parts listStock each truck to the correct inventory level based on its designated truck type: Service, Sales, Install, Drain, or TrenchlessVerify all required equipment, materials, and consumables are in place before the truck is cleared for field useCoordinate with the Warehouse Operations Coordinator to confirm readiness sign-offEquipment ComplianceEnsure the Equipment Check-Out SOP is followed by all employees accessing shared tools and equipmentMonitor equipment sign-out sheets daily and flag any missing or overdue items to the supervisorReport damaged, missing, or non-compliant equipment immediatelyWarehouse Inventory & OrganizationConduct weekly warehouse cycle countsProcess and document all material returnsManage cardboard breakdown and recyclingCoordinate water heater disposal per scheduleCoordinate stock replenishment with Warehouse & Field Support SpecialistRe-organize warehouse inventory sections as neededAdd and update bin locationsFacility DutiesParticipate in nightly security walkTake trash and recycling out on assigned daysEnsure facility is secured before departure each eveningCompensation & BenefitsBase Pay: $22-25/hr.Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexible availability as needed.Full benefits: 100% employer-paid medical and dental insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance.
