Travel Physical Therapist - $2,428 per week

Position Travel Physical Therapist – 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days, based in Blackwell, Oklahoma. Responsibilities Perform evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within facilities. Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within the respective state. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment. Evaluate and create a plan of care. Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition. Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience (1 year preferred; new graduates encouraged). Board certified in physical therapy with state‑specific licensing. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop for long periods of time. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
