Physical Therapist Traveler

This position offers an opportunity for a Physical Therapist Traveler to work in an inpatient setting and an outpatient clinic. The role requires evaluation of patients and the development and implementation of appropriate treatment plans for a variety of diagnoses. The goal is to improve patients' strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and function. Patient and caregiver education on home exercise programs is an essential part of the role. The schedule consists of working in an inpatient setting Monday through Friday and in an outpatient clinic Tuesday through Thursday. There is a possible housing opportunity with newly remodeled studio apartments available near the facility. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in physical therapy and current state licensure. Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of physical therapy experience. BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required. All applicants should note the radius rule: the permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
