Senior Accountant

Our client, a growing national organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you'll play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close, process improvements, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming from either public accounting or industr y who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to improve processes and grow professionally Responsibilities Support the monthly accounting close process and financial reporting activities Prepare and maintain general accounting records and reconciliations Assist with financial analysis and reporting Ensure accounting activities comply with company policies and accounting standards Support audit requests and maintain accurate financial documentation Help identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies Collaborate with internal teams to support business and financial objectives Participate in system enhancements and process improvement initiatives Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related projects Complete special projects and other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field CPA or CPA-track is a plus Several years of progressive accounting experience Public accounting and/or corporate accounting experience preferred Solid understanding of accounting principles Experience with financial reporting and general ledger accounting Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Connect Search, LLC
