Qualifications One year of post secondary education required; two years or more preferred. Interest in and understanding of children. Early childhood or kindergarten experience very helpful. Such alternative to the above qualifications as the School Committee may find appropriate and acceptable. Performance Responsibilities Works with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher. Guides independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work set up and assigned by the teacher. Assist with such large group activities as drill work, reading aloud and storytelling. Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students. Other duties as assigned by the teacher or Principal.
