The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for sourcing, procuring, and negotiating the purchase of HVAC equipment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Create precise and compliant purchase orders, adhering to company policies and standards Monitor stock/inventory levels of assigned branch locations; order products based on forecasts of sales trends Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate competitive pricing Collaborate with other departments to determine material needs, specifications, and delivery timelines Examine purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness, promptly resolving any discrepancies Oversee and monitor purchase orders from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely receipt of goods Address discrepancies or damages with suppliers, ensuring seamless coordination of returns and replacements QualificationsQualifications: Experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing roles Familiarity with inventory control principles Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC parts & supplies (Required) Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook Detail-oriented with great time management and organizational skills Experience: 3 Year HVAC experience(Required) Purchasing, Procurement, or Sourcing(Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr Team Air Distributing
