Analyst - Power, Energy & Infrastructure

In the Power, Energy & Infrastructure group, our Analyst work in a generalist capacity spanning the following verticals: Oil & Gas Exploration and Production, Midstream, Refining & Marketing, Oilfield Services, Power & Utilities, Renewables & Energy Transition, Sustainable Fuels, Engineering, Procurement & Construction (“EPC”), and Infrastructure. Clients include global corporations, financial sponsors, governments and other key stakeholders. This role is available in our Houston office. We’ll trust you to:

• Create and prepare client presentations and marketing materials
• Build complex financial models and perform valuation and other analytical

exercises

• Conduct detailed industry research and competitive analyses
• Execute deal processes, support due diligence and liaise with the client or

other advisors You’ll need to have: * A minimum of one year prior investment banking work experience, and an interest in the Power, Energy & Infrastructure sectors * Top academic performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, and poise

• Strong quantitative background and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, FactSet, Bloomberg and Pitchbook
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to multi-task in a

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $120,000 - $125,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Financial Advisory’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
