Remote Customer Service Agent

Remote Recruitment is hiring a remote Customer Service Agent to support a UK-based employer from South Africa. You'll be the friendly first point of contact, helping customers by phone, email and chat. This is a fully remote role working 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST).

Key responsibilities:

Respond to customer queries by phone, email and live chat
Resolve issues promptly and follow up where needed
Log interactions and update customer records
Escalate complex cases to the right team
Help improve the customer experience with feedback

What you'll need:

Experience with customer service or support roles
Familiarity with helpdesk or CRM software
Patience, empathy and clear communication
Clear written and spoken English
A reliable home internet connection and quiet workspace
