Admissions Coordinator

Overview Umpqua Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, part of Volare Health, is seeking an enthusiastic and service-driven part-time Admissions Coordinator to join our team to support weekend coverage. We are a network of skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers across multiple states. We create a welcoming and supportive environment for our residents, their families, and our dedicated staff. What You’ll Do Coordinate room readiness with nursing, maintenance, and housekeeping teams. Review and manage admissions referrals through EPIC, AIDA, and faxed systems. Ensure a smooth and welcoming admissions experience for residents and families. Collaborate with the admissions director, DON, and administrator to maintain census goals. Support customer service, documentation, and regulatory processes. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and occasional on-call/weekend duties. What We’re Looking For Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Degree in healthcare management, marketing, or related field. 3–5 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting. Previous experience as a CNA or healthcare worker strongly preferred. Knowledge of EPIC, PCC, or similar EMR systems is a plus. Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verification.
