Marketing Communications Intern

**Currently accepting applications for the fall 2026 semester. ** Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Marketing & Communications Intern to join our thriving regional public accounting firm, FustCharles and our healthcare consulting company, Microscope. This role provides hands-on experience in marketing, communications, and recruitment support, with opportunities to contribute to the firm’s employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a marketing or communications student eager to grow in a collaborative environment. Please note this is an in-person internship. Key Responsibilities: Assist with Digital & Social Media Management: Help plan, create, and post content on social media platforms for both FustCharles and Microscope. Monitor engagement and collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new ideas for social media content. Support Email Marketing & Communication: Assist in the creation of internal and external email newsletters, email campaigns, and press releases. Ensure all content aligns with the branding and communication strategies of both FustCharles and Microscope. Collaborate on Marketing Materials: Contribute to the design and development of marketing materials, including advertisements, flyers, and digital content, to support the branding and promotional efforts of FustCharles and Microscope. Assist with Event Coordination: Help organize and manage internal and external events, including client-facing webinars, employee engagement activities, and sponsored events for both FustCharles and Microscope. Assist with logistical planning and post-event follow-ups. Support Recruiting & Employee Engagement: Work with the marketing team and HR to assist with recruitment marketing efforts, including social media campaigns and job postings. Contribute to employee engagement initiatives by helping to plan and promote internal engagement programs and events. Track Marketing & Engagement Performance: Help gather and report on social media performance, website traffic, email marketing metrics, and recruitment marketing metrics, providing data to the marketing team for analysis. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including maintaining files, organizing meetings, and updating project timelines. Qualifications: Current student (Junior, Senior or Grad) pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). Experience with graphic design software (Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus. Experience with video editing is a plus. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Additionally, you’ll gain exposure to recruitment marketing and employee engagement strategies, providing a well-rounded experience that spans both marketing and HR functions. As an intern, you will: Learn the fundamentals of creating and executing comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns across diverse industries. Assist with content creation, social media strategy, and email marketing, while contributing to the promotion of both FustCharles and Microscope. Gain valuable insights into how marketing supports recruitment and employee engagement within both the accounting and healthcare consulting industries. Work alongside experienced marketing professionals who will mentor you through the process of crafting effective marketing strategies for a variety of audiences.
