Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour (Based on experience, skills, and applicable licenses)

About the Role

Koopman Lumber is looking for a dependable, safety-minded Load Puller to join our Distribution Center team in Uxbridge, MA.

In this role, you'll be responsible for accurately pulling, staging, and loading building materials for delivery to our retail stores and customers throughout New England. Success in this position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Forklift experience is required, and experience handling lumber and building materials is strongly preferred.

What You'll Do

• Pull and stage customer and store orders accurately using pick tickets.
• Build safe, organized loads for delivery.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Load and unload delivery trucks while protecting materials from damage.
• Verify products, quantities, and special instructions before shipment.
• Assist with receiving inbound inventory and stocking materials.
• Support dispatch by scanning, verifying, and organizing outgoing orders.
• Communicate with drivers, dispatch, and warehouse leadership to resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report damaged or missing materials.
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, lumber yard, or distribution center experience.
• Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain).
• DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain).
• Knowledge of building materials.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift up to 75 pounds (team lifting or equipment used for heavier materials).
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Comfortable operating powered industrial equipment for extended periods.
