CNC Machinist - Days - $20+ DOE

Machinist Position

We are seeking skilled machinists to join our team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of machine tools, including CNC mills, lathes, and VTLs, to produce precision parts. Candidates must have a strong focus on quality, safety, and the ability to work from blueprints and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CNC mills, CNC lathes, and/or VTL machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders
• Set up machines, adjust tooling, and monitor operations for quality output
• Measure finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
• Detect equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Perform routine machine maintenance and adjustments
• Record production and operational data accurately
• Calculate basic math using U.S. and metric measurements
• Communicate with supervisors and quality teams to resolve issues
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of machinist experience
• Proficiency with CNC mills, lathes, and/or VTL machines
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of tolerances and precision measurements
• Experience using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
• Must provide own tools (BYOT environment)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Knowledge of metal properties and machining processes
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $18+ DOE

Schedule: Day Shift – OT and needed
