Maintenance Professional Our growing, portfolio diversified Property Management company is seeking to recruit a Maintenance Professional that will support and assist our current maintenance team at our Norton location. Responsibilities Communicate with the on‑site Property Manager via phone, text, and email to ensure all tenants’ service calls, AppFolio service requests, move in/out assignments, repairs, and maintenance and renovation projects are completed professionally and timely. Meet with the Property Manager at the office to review the day’s specific assignments every morning before starting work. Respond to and take care of all emergency repair and maintenance calls after hours and during weekends and holidays. Perform all aspects of maintenance, repair, and renovation projects, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, flooring, tile, paint, drywall, kitchen cabinet installation, appliance installation, and pool area maintenance. Help oversee sub‑contractors assigned to specific renovation or repair work such as painting, electrical, HVAC, concrete, masonry, tuck pointing, driveway paving, sealcoating, patching, flooring, carpentry or plumbing. Prepare and request supply lists and materials needed for maintenance and construction projects. Confer with owners, property managers, subcontractors, and vendors to discuss and resolve operative or construction matters. Investigate damages, accidents, or delays in renovation or repair projects to ensure proper contingency procedures are followed. Work with the Property Manager to ensure a signed and approved purchase order for each maintenance or service expense per company procedures. Qualifications Extensive hands‑on experience with building trades: electrical, flooring, painting, carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, concrete, HVAC, windows, etc. Good communication and presentation skills (verbal, written, text, email) and the proven ability to work in a team environment. Ability to use the AppFolio software on a mobile phone, including service requests and files stored on OneDrive. Capable of guiding and supervising team workers, contractors and subcontractors. Valid driver’s license. Appropriate education. Good managerial and organizational skills. Detail oriented, hard‑working, with a positive attitude and smile, as the role is a front‑line position to tenants, other personnel, or customers.
