You’ll be:

• Reviewing and monitoring well reports for a geographic area.
• Determining division of interests and calculating amount of royalties.
• Ensuring timely payment of royalties for complex transactions.
• Performing deck set-up for operated, payout, and non-operated wells.
• Calculating and reporting ownership interests.
• Ensuring effective integration between Land Operations, Land Administration, and Accounting.
• Following contractual and state statutory payment requirements.
• Revising working interests and royalty interests based on legal documents.
• Performing ownership changes.
• Setting up and maintaining units, including amendments and revisions.
• Analyzing and interpreting leases, division orders, contracts, deeds, and title opinions.
• Identifying and resolving data integrity issues.
• Determining and requesting documentation needed to cure title obligations.
• Identifying and offering alternative solutions to resolve issues.
• Obtaining and interpreting curative material for resolution of title defects.
• Interpreting contracts and leases for all properties.
• Preparing appropriate forms for disbursement of payments.
• Communicating with the legal department when necessary.Requirements:
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn other computer applications.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Have knowledge of Quorum Land System/SAP experience (a plus).
• Have the ability to work under deadlines.
