ENTRY Phlebotomist I

Job TitlePay Range: $12.75hr - $17.75hrRequirement/Must HaveHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.Phlebotomy experience is required, including internship or externship experience to cover basic skills.Minimum of 1+ years of client-facing customer service experience is required (e.g., Retail, Home Health Aide).Keyboard and data entry experience is required.Ability to perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.Willingness to work both in the lobby and in a draw room with patients to assist with coverage.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients upon arrival and address questions or concerns with care and compassion.Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the waiting area.Assist patients with check-ins in the lobby using a self-service kiosk or handheld tablet.Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.Maintain a safe and professional environment.Maintain required records and documentation.Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients and the public.Provide coverage for breaks and staffing shortages by performing phlebotomy duties.SkillsPhlebotomy.Customer Service.Data Entry.Specimen Collection.Specimen Processing.Patient Care.Qualification And EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent.Phlebotomy certification or training.
